Now, in its third year, it has hit the big screen, and the ‘threequel’ has developed into something of a phenomenon sweeping the world. The story revolves around a group of kids at East High School, they are in their senior, final year and having to adjust to leaving the school and moving on. The main protagonists are Gabriella the brain box, Troy the basketball star, or just maybe, a candidate for the Juilliard School for the Performing Arts, Sharpay, Ryan, and others. They are all squeaky clean as is the whole production, and since kids tend to identify quite strongly with them, their parents probably feel that that is no bad thing..
